At The Union Conference, which will be hosted in Paris this year, there will be multiple sessions related to the use of digital adherence technologies as a support tool in TB treatment.

To kick start DAT related sessions at the Conference, the Global DAT Task Force is facilitating a workshop on Tuesday 14th November titled: “A Holistic Approach to Planning for a Digital Adherence Technology Intervention”, which includes presentations related to planning for a person centered approach that meets the needs of the people using the technology as well as the context it is implemented in. In addition we will be looking at ways in which data can be used for country decision making, and ensuring the sustainability of the intervention from a funding perspective.

Results from the KNCV TB Plus led ASCENT project is a moment many stakeholders globally have been waiting for over the last years.
Final findings and insights into the use and impact of DATs in TB treatment across these diverse study countries will take center stage at the Union Conference this year. We are excited to see the research outcomes, the real-world stories of people using the technologies, and the innovative solutions that have emerged from this journey.
